Former job has already called once with a crisis over data they couldn't find.

Betacat is very confused by the activity known as "packing" which is going on. He's disturbed by the appearance of boxes or something. He's been very clingy and nervous, sniffing around, hiding, and skittish.

I should go out and buy a roll of strapping tape and styrofoam peanutty things.

We've got craploads of packing tape, none of it's reinforced though. If you want it, we'd be happy to send you home with a couple of rolls.

If you need more styrofoam peanuts I've got a box sitting here I can't bring myself to ditch as, well, i t seems like it would be useful. It's about the length of my elbow to the line of my wrist, cubed. Completely full of packing peanuts.
