Former job has already called once with a crisis over data they couldn't find.

Betacat is very confused by the activity known as "packing" which is going on. He's disturbed by the appearance of boxes or something. He's been very clingy and nervous, sniffing around, hiding, and skittish.

I should go out and buy a roll of strapping tape and styrofoam peanutty things.

I have a bunch of packing peanuts. I have no idea where you live, but I'd be willing to send them to you, as I didn't want to just trash them!
