The cookies were Friday. Cayne rolled his eyes when I said I wanted to watch the skating, but he sat next to me with the laptop and I watched. He watched a bit too.

seriously, it didn't make a significant difference except i went to bed before 2am Friday night, which i probably would have anyway after spending four hours in the mall with a toddler. yesterday i went shopping, shipped melebeth's surprise, cleaned litter boxes, read the new Callahan's book, spent too much time playing video games, got stood up (accidentally) for a lunch party date, and nursed my sore tummy. typical Saturday, really.
