Cayne's trying to cheer me up.

He says, "I promise to tell you how I think you look, even if it makes you cry...because I know you'll look stunning."

Then he says "Scout's Honor" and tries to do the Boy Scout Salute (three fingers up, etc.) Instead, he gives me the Vulcan salute.

THAT is the cutest thing I have read in a long time. Whether it's intentional, or not so much.
