So, we've been married a month,

and here's what I have to say...

being married isn't very different for us than not being married. I think this is probably a good thing-not having our married life feel dramatically different from our unmarried life.

As much as I hate the idea of moving to Florida next week, I'm glad that it's Cayne I'm doing it with. His outlook on life, his joy in everyday things, there are all kinds of things that make it better than it could be. The big transition is that my life, my choices, they're not all mine anymore, that we share major parts of the journey now.

Cayne had to work late tonight...they're doing late Tuesdays and Thursdays until the current game ships, so I brought him dinner from Cheesecake Factory.

I do hope he gets home soon. I really do like to curl up on the couch with him in the evenings.

People used to ask us what it was like to be married (when we first got married). We replied, "Much like not being married except people keep asking us this odd question." Really what mostly changes with getting married is in other people's minds.

Sorry you are moving even farther away. I hope it goes well for you both.

Me too...but we're still going to try and make it to Boston this winter for Arisia, or for some other visit, since Cayne's never been other than Arisia and there is cool stuff to see.
