We're now in Florida, which means I've got to get even more serious about sunblock than before. (The joys of being redhaired and fair skinned.)

The water here is also drying my skin in new and exciting ways.

I can find okay moisturizers for my face with sunscreen in them, but here's what I'm wondering:

Do you know of any good body moisturizers with good sunscreen in them

Or

Do you put your sunscreen on first or your moisturizer?

My mom and I usually go the sunscreen first, lotion second route in Florida. We're both fair-skinned, and my mom comes from a long line of fair-skinned, red-headed Floridians. Sometimes I feel like a ginourmous grease ball with all that stuff on down there, but it's worth it.

Lubridrem makes a reasonable SPF 15 moisturizer. You should get into the habit of putting it on right out of the shower. I will sometimes, if I don't think I am going out much, put on moisturizer. Then when I do have to spend a lot of time outside put the sunscreen on.

Good, waterpoof, lastings sunscreen needs to bind to the skin. Can't do that over a moisturizer.

Mexoryl. It's available in Canada in L'Oreal products. Supposed to be far better against UVA than currently available stuff here.

I should answer this one! (Even though I live in NJ, I'm in the sun routinely for around 8-12 hours per day, in direct sun, on the water, i.e. lots of reflection)

I use moisturizer first, then use Neutrogena Sunblock Lotion SPF 45. It has UVA/UVB protection, and a nice citrus smell. Tends to cost more than other brands, but it's so worth it.

I also have tried other brands like Banana Boat and used protection from SPF 15 through 60. I find SPF 45 is most effective.

I use Neuterogena's Daily Defense sheer moisturizer with SPF 15. I always wondered which should go first, too...but I gave up and just found something that was a combo. :)

Oh! I can look it up at home! I have an entire book of product reviews from The Cosmetics Cop (http://www.cosmeticscop.com).

My mom and sisters use Neutragena Natural Defense. It is SPF 30.
