I hate to be the one to break this to you, but watching the National Spelling Bee is totally mainstream now. ESPN has been advertising it all over and even the Baseball Tonight guys are riffing on the theme, spelling out the tough names like Mienkewicz (or however it's spelt :).

Us too! Brian and I were riveted and challenging one another with our version of the spelling (and thoroughly humbled when we got less than 50% correct???!)
