I could when I was 13, when I last needed to. I haven't had a parent or guardian for a very long time.

One parent's signature is zir name written neatly; the other's is a squiggle. I have never tried to forge either, but am confident that the first is quite easily forgeable.

I've done my dad's so many times that my signature now looks like his. Perils of a troubled childhood.

I simply used my father's signature stamp when I needed to get out of first period swimming class in school. Unheated pool? In the winter? I'd turn blue and die. Besides, I knew how to swim already.

yes, but...

...only because our signatures grew close to indistinguishable in their scrawliness in recent years...

I forged my mom's signature in 3rd grade well enough that the teacher didn't notice (with my mom's actual signature in other spots on the same paper), but unfortunately my mom did.

I used to be able to. I'm years out of practice but I used to sign stuff for my dad (I even had his permission).

We used to have to get our parent to sign our practice sheets weekly for band. :)

Addendum -- I can do a pretty reasonable facsimile of my dad's signature, but I learned to do so well after I was past age of majority, and at his request -- I was renewing the registration on a car he owned.

I'm not sure I could do it now without practicing again for a while.

His and Mom's signatures are very like mine when I'm trying to be legible. The last name always looked about the same until I started going for the "you are asking me to sign a computer. I'm going to scribble randomly" thing.
