So Disappointed in Him

My spouse decided he wanted to be responsible for purchasing Halloween rations this year. I agreed...I assumed that he was going to be reasonable about it. I knew he wanted lollipops, and he couldn't find the ones he wanted at one grocery store, so he said he'd pick it up on the way home yesterday. I thought that was fine, and he did. I just looked at what he bought and there is not one bit of chocolate in the Halloween candy.
None. Not a piece.
I think I may need to demand some on the way home.

Oh, and pregnant women need chocolate. Studies show it makes happier babies!

If you've never had one, it's a layer of vanilla ice cream, with a layer of crunchy chocolate pieces, and then a layer of chocolate. My sister wouldn't eat vanilla ice cream unles sit had chocolate syrup on it, so I would trade her my chocoalate layer for her vanilla layer.
Still, I wanted a Milky Way Midnight Mini.

Oh and only a man would be Halloween candy and forget the chocolate!

Date: 2007-11-01 01:05 am (UTC)And not related, but my mom's father was a bigwig in the early days of refrigeration and freezer stuff. He worked with Tom Carvel to develop his first ice cream freezers. So, that's the family connection. It's a running joke every time we get Carvel to rub our bellies and say "Mmmm, thanks Grandpa."
