Baby Watch 08, Day 3 (EDD+1)

My mother and sister have decided it would be fun to bug me about when the baby is coming.

Just don't do that. Seriously. It's good for not much other than making me cranky.

No, the baby is not here. No, it isn't amusing when you tell me that if I don't have the baby by Friday you're going to tell me whether it's a boy or a girl.

No, no and no.

Yes I'm grouchy. I am, however, trying to be well rested-it's supposed to make labor shorter and easier.

The plan tomorrow involves Cayne picking me up to go to the doctor, also getting some lunch, getting the car seat inspected, and getting the taxes done.

I don't think there's any occasion in my life where I've been told to have sex more often while trying to get this baby out, and that includes the time than when I was trying to get pregnant.

Think positive thoughts for Cayne finishing his project so that I can start eating pineapple. And think positive thoughts for the baby to come this weekend-both the OB I like and the midwife I like are on call.

Crossing my fingers and toes for you.

My third was born three weeks past her due date. During the hottest summer we've ever had. We do not have air conditioning. I was close to committing murder when my mother would call and say, "Haven't you had that baby yet?"

I am sending tons of good positive thoughts for Cayne finishing his project.

In my opinion, if there is ever a time a woman has every single right to be grouchy, it is when they are at, or PAST their due date! It's your time, grouch it up if you want to.
