I bought a bunch of CDs for Naomi last weekend. Neither my car nor Cayne's car has a CD player though. I have both an IPod and a portable CD player that can plug into the speakers of the car though Here's the conversation we had tonight.

Me: "So what do you think the best way to get that music playing in the car for Naomi is?"
Him: "Put it on the IPod I guess, and make playlists for her."
Me: "Okay. I can do that."
Him:" Or you could make a mix tape for her."
Me: "Do we even have anything that will do that anymore?"
He thinks for a moment and says, "Yeah. My stereo in the blue room will do it."
Me: "Can we still buy tapes."
Him: "I think so."

I tried the mix cd technology for Kent on Valentine's day. He only just recently told me that the cd never recorded...so, instead, he downloaded the songs of the net and made a playlist on his computer.

I like mix tapes a lot better. :/

Ooh, what CDs did you get her? Did you get the Domperidone? It is amazing how high-tech everything is...we were recording baby giggles and coos and declarations with the microphone I bought for my iPod, and my Mom reminded me that she used to leave the tape recorder in my crib or on the changing table to capture the very same sweet sounds.
