Spring Thigs
Apr. 8th, 2009 09:38 pmI made a simple Pesach meal tonight-soup, potato kugel and applesauce. It's just the three of us-with Passover and Easter so close together, and Naomi's birthday next weekend, we kept it simple. Naomi ate her first Matzo tonight, which involved lots of funny faces.
When she was done eating, Cayne took Naomi outside to look for Elijah. It was too sweet for words, listening to him explain (in French) what they were doing, and the way he stumbled over his words.
I was cooking today and thinking about Erev Pesach last year-I was in labor with Naomi. This year has also brought good news to my family and as many challenges as the last year as brought, it's all okay.
I can't believe that next week, I'll have a one year old though. Time has flown by, for sure.
