So very, very tired.

zedrikcayne went back to work today after two and a half weeks off, and I miss his company and his help.

Can't think of what I want for Mother's Day and my birthday. And the very lovely spouse would really like to know because if I don't tell him, I know what he'll get, and while jewelry is very lovely, there isn't anything I'd like in particular right now. I got lovely things last year-a beautiful pair of earrings, a very special necklace and a bracelet (which I had asked for for Chanukah.) I'm leaning towards asking for a video camera as a combined gift for both events (which are a couple of weeks apart) because it would be nice to have to take more video of Naomi. I enjoy putting video of her on YouTube for people to see. I'm also fascinated by the Verizon HUB, which would be really nice to have, too.

She's a much happier kid now that the tooth on top has finally broken through-this is tooth #3, the top right front tooth. We're waiting on #4, which I expect will happen soon enough. I look forward to corn on the cob with her when she gets all four of her front teeth.

We might finally get the kitchen done this summer. We've got a guy coming to do estimates on Wednesday, and we'll see if I can find something in our budget and that I like. And depending on the budget, I may decide to do the floor. Or not. I can live with the tile that's here, even though I don't like it. It does dictate light colored cabinets though.

Naomi is walking about half the time right now. It's a toss up whether she'll decide to go from one place to another on all fours or on two feet. She's standing at my feet right now and banging on the table with a wooden block, which she alternately puts into her mouth.

I'm starting to bed-browse. I think we'd like to buy a new bed this year, and perhaps upgrade to a king sized bed-more room for everyone.

A whole bunch of people on my piano teachers listserv have a Flip video camera, and they RAVE about it. I ordered one a few days ago. Can't wait!

Mine apparently came in the mail today. But I wouldn't let myself go and get it... because I've GOT to get to bed before 3am, and I know I'd stay up playing with it!

Yes, you would like to ask for a video camera. But almost as importantly, your lj friends would WANT you to get a video camera. Who wouldn't want to see more of Naomi?

You do have the Flickr feed and Cayne's YouTube auto-notifying you when we update them, right? There are probably spaghetti-related photos or video coming soon.

I think we're going to go look at video cameras this weekend and see if there's something that suits our needs and our budget.
