Can I just say how nice it is that my job EXPECTS that if you're elligible, you go vote? We're told to come in late, take an extra long lunch or leave early as needed to go to the polls.

My plan is to vote on the way in-I figure the polls will be less crowded in the AM on the way to work. I could be totally wrong though.

I wish they would make it a national holiday. :) Of course, knowing our society, there would probably be LESS voter turnout because people would travel.

This is the first election day since I was 18 that I've actually reported to work as usual. I've always spent the day outside with signs doing Get Out The Vote campaigning.. I feel guilty enjoying my nice warm office. :)
