Scary Sick

We progressed rapidly from just plain sick to scary sick. It's been a long time since I was scary sick. And by scary sick I mean fevers that were hitting 104 and 105, and chills and all that. On Wednesday night, I was laying in bed after having dozed on and off most of Tuesday and under about five blankets and asking for more. Several showers, a dose of Tylenol later and the fever had at least reached a tolerable level. Regular applications of fever reducers yesterday kept things at 101.5 or below. I'm repeating the same procedure today.

I had a chest x-ray and blood work this morning...I've been on antibiotics and steroids for a couple of days and am finally starting to feel a little better. I'm still not 100%, but far better than I was.

So if I've talked to you in the last few days and didn't make much sense or something, I apologize.

Thanks. I'm on the mend, and fortunately neither the kids nor Cayne seems to have gotten sick...now let's hope they stay that way.
