Duckpin bowling!

My sister was in town for a couple of days-she was staying with our cousin, who has just moved back to Orlando after some drama in her own life. We spent a lot of time with Stacey (my sister) and Lauran (my cousin) but it's July and Orlando, which means we sought out indoor activities. We spent some time at the science center last Friday and had a lot of fun, and on Sunday we went duckpin bowling-

BTW, I'm arriving ORL Thurs evening, around 8 something, and leaving Tuesday evening around 8 something. Can't completely predict, but most likely if y'all wanted to do the beach again that could work (not Friday - it's Dad's birthday) or maybe I can work something out around arrival or departure....

Orlando has a cute science museum downtown, near Leu Gardens and the art museum.

Let me talk to Andy about the weekend though-I'm not really much for the beach in the summer (too much sun for me) but we might be able to work something out.

We've bowled quiet a bit in the last year, with regular bowling balls, bumpers and ramps. They're actually not bad bowlers, all things considered. They certainly miss plenty of shots-the bumpers only go so far, and Miriam in particular would bank the ball in such a way that it would roll down the lane and then tumble into the gutter right at the end, but they had a good time and that's what counts.
