In my experience, the outer ring stays outside if you put in all but half an inch or so.

Taking the inner ring out is my primary tip, whether you're using them vaginally, anally or as a baggy condom.

Thank you! No one here had ever tried them for anal sex (and most of the people here aren't having any kind of vaginal sex.) I've never tried them without the inner ring for vaginal sex; how is it different?

It makes them a hell of a lot easier to put in and there's no chance of the insertive partner ending up with a sore penis because of rubbing against it!
