The return of the monster
Feb. 28th, 2003 05:29 pmBeta is back home. Sans testicles. He's walking a little funny, he seems very confused-like he's been away for days and not hours. He's mostly himself, a bit calmer, which may be a side effect of the pain medication-we'll see how long that lasts. He's been purring and talking to me...although not much cuddling yet. He's still exploring the place, sort of like when I brought him home. He's just demanded that I open the cat carrier again so he can hang out in it.
I hope Oblivion is nice to him, although I think she will be. She's quite tolerant of him, until he gets too rough for her, or tries to mount her.
Now to figure out how to get him to take his medicine-a pain killer and an antibiotic. Probably ground up into some tuna...which means both kitties will get tuna treats for a few days.
Spoiled rotten animals.
I love them.
