Saturday. Work. Suck

Yet again, we're trainng peer educators on a Saturday. This alone is not unusual.

I am however more irritated than usual about this.

Apparently "drugs eat you brain."
And LSD makes you mentally ill "right away"

At 20 after 8 this morning, my boss called me. "I'm leaving now. Can you pick up the donuts and give the pre-survey?"

Sure. Fine. I'll do that. But in the meantime, tell me what I have to present today? Because I need to prepare for what I'm doing...right? I mean, it's not like I might want to have materials ready, or handouts or anything.

Oh, and apparently, being there at nine AM means "show up at 9:30 or later on..."

Even though the aforementioned boss told me at 8:20 when I spoke to her that she wanted to finish early. Because she has to go to a baby shower.

We're still on the first part of training. It's nearly 11 AM. We'll see how early we finish.

My concern is that she's given out misinformation before...like the time she said HIV could be cured by antibiotics. And that she's often unclear in what she does say...I don't like to have to pick up the pieces, or get screwed over during a peer led presentation when one of our peer educators give out misleading information to young people because she's said things unclearly...
