Our new kitchen duty schedule was posted. (Kitchen duty rotates through the office...each Friday someone cleans the microwave, cofffe pot, toaster, counters, etc.) I had kitchen duty last Friday. The new schedule runs until October.

Even if this specific job doesn't pan out, I think you should continue to apply for that kind of position until you land one. The need is so great, and you've got such talent and passion for it.
