Our new kitchen duty schedule was posted. (Kitchen duty rotates through the office...each Friday someone cleans the microwave, cofffe pot, toaster, counters, etc.) I had kitchen duty last Friday. The new schedule runs until October.


I'm not anywhere on it.

With the Instructor/ you might not be underqualified. Instructor doesn't usually require a Ph.D. and you have useful life experience.

But is it "squee that's the perfect job for her" or "squee she's going to get that job?"

A lot of the former and a bit of the latter.

Even if this specific job doesn't pan out, I think you should continue to apply for that kind of position until you land one. The need is so great, and you've got such talent and passion for it.
